・通常の治療に抵抗する30名に対し、防腐剤の含まれないｵﾌﾛｷｻｼﾝ眼軟膏の効果を調べた。
・2週間、1日3回眼瞼縁全周に薄く塗った。
・自覚症状は有意に低下（p<0.0001)、油層の厚みも有意に増加（p<0.001)、BUTも有意に延長（p=0.01)。

・17名17眼のAMDによる中心窩下CNVにbevacizumab 2.5mg/0.1mlを硝子体注射
・注射前のBCVAは平均20/252、中心網膜厚CRT平均は362μm。
・12週間後、BCVAは20/76(p<0.001)、CRT平均は211μm(p<0.001)。
・12週間後、13眼(76%)では網膜下液は完全に消失し、4眼ではBCVAは20/50以上であった

・硝子体内Avastin(bevacizumab, Genentech)の目的外使用は、Lucentis(ranibizumab, Genentech)、Macugen(pegabtanib, Eyestech/OSI)と同等の効果で安価である。
・Bashshur ZFらの論文では通常使用量の1.25mgの倍量の2.5mgを1ヶ月おきで3回使用。
・適量の検討がなされておらず、問題はあるが、大量投与で大きな効果が得られた
・Avastinは費用対効果で、Lucentisに代わりうるものであろう
